Effective January 1, 2014 all Resident Screening and Books & Forms past due invoices are subject to a late fee of $5.00 for every 30 days the invoice goes unpaid. This fee will be used to cover the additional costs incurred by the AAOC in its collections of past due invoices. Here are some things you can do to avoid this late fee:

Pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Title 18, a fine of $5,000 and/or imprisonment not more than two years, or both, per occurrence, and/or a fine of $2,500 pursuant to state law for each violation, may result from requesting a consumer credit report under false pretenses or without an authorized permissible purpose.
